Update March 31:
They pulled the show...
Check it out -
airline meals for virtual airlines at airlinemeals.net! I have long marvelled at the geekiness of virtual airlines, but this tops it. So people are running Microsoft Flight simulator, piloting a flight, and making themselves little fake in-flight meals to round out the experience.
I want to set up a full virtual
passenger experience--go down to my basement and nestle into my Virgin Airlines first class seating pod, login, and sit for 8 hours listening to the flight chatter of some virtual pilot in Idaho "flying" me to Copenhagen. I just need to get Ed to play the flight attendant and bring me drinks and meals in little trays with mini salt and pepper shakers. Mmm.
Airlinermeals.net was started in 2001 by a graphic designer in Rotterdam, and now has over 18,000 images of meals from 535 airlines.
